Fibertown is uniquely situated 150 feet from a fiber nexus in Bryan, Texas, a fiber crossroads for five of the world's nine Tier I internet carriers. Multiple fiber circuits have been implemented via multiple carriers to serve all bandwidth and automatic fail-over business continuity objectives. Partnering with sister company Matrix Datacom, a Texas CLEC, allows Fibertown to build private fiber in public right-of-way into additional carriers as required.

The Fibertown Mainline is a private, dedicated fiber trunk providing virtually unlimited connectivity to Texas A&M University. In addition, the Mainline allows us to interconnect to Lonestar Education and Research Network (LEARN) operating over the Texas Higher Education Network backbone infrastructure. LEARN peers include TTVN, The North Texas Gigapop, the Abilene network, the Southeast Texas GigaPOP, The state of Texas, through its Department of Information Resources (DIR), and Texas Education Telecommunications Network (TETN).
